The Redstarts again, captured on a little compact camera at the weekend. It's not easy to get decent shots with the zoom but this one came out pretty well. There are actually two chicks and it looks like the parents look after one each.
While the chick sits patiently (on our garden chair!) it's easy to get photos but the parents flit in and out so quickly. I was pleased to get this shot of the male, it shows how dark the colouring is on his head..
