Drawing in public and drawing buildings will probably never feature in my top 10 list of favourite things to do. But since almost everything else moves, I'm going to have to get over it if I'm going to remain a member of the Sketchercise group! For the first sketch, above, I went for an easy option - a local church which is always quiet. It's the Rumanian church I blogged about here, back in 2006.
Being a little braver later in the week, I sketched the roof of a public building in Place Favre. This was a real feat of endurance as I had rather foolishly picked a bench out in the blazing sunshine on a day when it must have been 32C +!
