Combat gear

This is not quite as finished as I'd normally like but I haven't the energy to work on it any more. Last week was one truly awful week, with not one, not two, but three bombshells in the space of two days and I ended up with the inevitable migraine for the weekend. The least worst bombshell relates to the ongoing work in the bathrooms. Two baths taken out, two showers put in. How long could it take? Well, it's taken since last summer with no end in sight and after Friday's bombshell, it's just turned from a major inconvenience into a farce! Little did I realise when I started this drawing that it would be me donning the combat gear.

This is the owner of the little Chinese dog I drew here.

Oh, I'm sorry about your migraine! It's so difficult to do anything when this happens. Hopefully those bathrooms will get done soon. Your combat man drawing is amazing! The little Chinese dog is beautiful. Take care!

Thanks again for the encouragement, much appreciated! The organiser of said bathrooms has now deserted us but that is not necessarily a bad thing! ;)

What an amazing image! Now I'm really curious about all those bombshells, especially with having no bathroom being the least worst! I've had that experience with workmen too -- one got mad and walked off the job when I told him that I couldn't open or close the window he'd installed incorrectly so he just took off, leaving big holes where the rest of the windows were supposed to be put in! I hope you're able to find a better contractor and that no more migraines interfere with your life!
