This is just so amazing, Felicity. I have looked at it for a long time and still have absolutely no idea how you would even begin to go about this.

The colours just floor me.

I've been trying to find the details for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Have you ever been to the exhibition? For some reason, I don't rememeber it being for painters only. I felt sure I saw pencil drawings amongst them. Anyway, the point is, your work is EASILY as great as anything I've seen there. I'm sure watercolour pencils would come under painting;
