This week the session was held in a small room or I would have done a few drawings in different positions just for a change. I decided instead to concentrate on the two areas that I find most difficult, the knees and the face. I don't like the face when it's on it's side and the skin is being pulled in strange ways so I didn't spend so much time on that but I was happy with the way the knees, and the thighs, turned out. I worked a little bit on the skin around the tummy to show how it dimpled and folded - hoping in three hours to come close to what Anthony Ryder does in three days! I can feel the difference at these life sessions between when I have been drawing during the week and when I haven't. It's much easier and quicker to get into it especially if I've been drawing the day before.B pencil.

Wow, this is really good. You did an excellent job on the skin texture.
Great job on the knees and thighs...always a difficult area with all the bony structure underneath.
nice drawing. i love the core shadows on the legs.
You've got to be very pleased with yourself on this one! You have done an absolutely wonderful job. The skin feels so real, especially around her midsection. And, the knees...ah, the knees.
great Felicity, love it when you do the faces as well
She looks ready to leap off the page - nice drawing!
Felicity, this is a great one! She looks so lifelike and you can really feel her weight and see effect of gravity. I just realized tonight was figure drawing and I forgot all about it. I've got to get back in the habit again.
My goodness, Felicity, this is an incredibly good life drawing. The face looks great, and the knees too - well, the whole thing looks great to me!
Wonderful work Felicity. The legs really are lifelike.
What great life drawing you did again!
Nice work.
