Life drawing

Another life drawing session that I enjoyed - and came away headache-free! This was the first drawing and one that I'm pleased with, it looks just like her. The light was absolutely perfect, just the way I like it - making the edges of the skin look dark against it's surroundings.

On the opposite side this time, with the light behind and in front of her. It wasn't so comfortable for my eyes.

The quickest drawing, done towards the end. Believe it or not, this is the same model as last week. There are days when every mark on the paper is terrible and others when everything seems so easy and today it was almost effortless. Wish every week was like this one!

Very nice work Felicity. The first one is especially great--she looks so fierce and strong. How large are you working? Your lines are wonderful.

I like all three. But i love how you managed to capture her facial expression in the first one. But i also love the second one for the light and the shadows near her collar bones. Hmm, gorgeous.

Thanks all! Terri the tattoo was funny, a man in stripey leggings and a woman in what I thought were unsuitable shoes for riding on a broomstick - court shoes!

Jana, I thought she looked wonderful and strong in profile too. I work on A4.

Dex, I haven't but I'm going to check it out, thanks!
