Out of season

I came home yesterday afternoon with the start of a migraine and a swollen eyelid (a stress related thing I get quite often). This Azalea bud by the front door literally stopped me in my tracks.

Two bugs demonstrating contrast.

I have a need to find something genuine so the garden is very calming - even if some of the plants have been genetically altered!

Oh poor you. I hope your migraine soon passes and you feel better soon. The flowers are beautiful, especially the rose and I agree with you about the restorative effects of a garden/flowers/allotment - practically anything that grows really!

I like the bugs demonstrating contrast! There's an interesting squiggly shape on the flower behind the back bug too. You are such a good photographer. You're also courageous to post drawings you don't like. It's a service to others to know that not everything you do is perfect!
