I'm not one for making lists which is probably why I'm so disorganised but here's one I came across in the stack of papers the previous owners left behind. This believe it or not is the list of tunes on our doorbell. I can always tell when it's Alex or Mark at the door because they ring it more than once to make me cringe. Paul is above this sort of behaviour!

Definately Amazing Grace. :o)
oh my - that is too funny
even waltzing Matilda??? gosh!
I smiled at the O Solo Mio on your door bell it always reminds of a British tv advert for Walls Ice Cream Cornettos sung to the tune in the Uk 'Just one cornetto, give it to me, delicious ice cream, from Italy' - we had some very strange looks standing singing that at the tops of our voices at a water bus stop in Venice on a group visit a few years ago - the italians and american tourists thought we'd lost the plot big time - the looks on their faces made us break into giggles at intervals for the rest of the trip :o) Oh happy days sigh!
All this has to be meticulously documented and your house preserved as an installation entitled The Realm of Kitsch. What a work of art!!!!!!!!
Santa Lucia perhaps...but I guess I didn't know door bells did that!!
Terri, I should have known you would pick that one :)
Anne, it always reminds me of the ad too but I've yet to hear it on the doorbell so I can't vouch for it's authenticity - the sound it makes is pretty tacky (if sound can be described that way)!
Omega, oh the horror! I hope there are no more surprises in store with this house!
Oh and I was so hoping for "The Man on the Flying Trapeze," or "Bicycle built for two ..."
