There's something so compelling about windows with open shutters. I really love the bottom photo, and how the shutters aren't the same size. Great photos, too!
These are delightful. I'm interested in how the light is different from the Kuwait photos, and how the architectural feature in each case suits its light. In the third photo I'm also intrigued by the one folded shutter, and hope that it was a consistent feature when another window was so close (control freak that I am!)- and I love the little carving. It is one of the joys of looking up at old buildings - there are so often lovely surprises.

Love the blue shutters, especially the one with the little niche with the saint!
These are great -reminds me of when I was living in Cyprus - everyone has shutters over there!
