Yikes, I knew this one would come up. I felt the fear and did it anyway! This is a quick line drawing but I think it's a good likeness and I thought I would upload this first, do some shading and see the difference. I chose a profile as I've already done a full face (in the September archives somewhere). I'm going to resist the urge to tell all about how I feel about my face but I will say that I like getting older but ageing sucks!!

Yup ... aging is the pits ... but the beauty of drawing your own portrait is you can be as old as you would like to be. Great job.

How did you do it, with two mirrors at 90 degree angles? It looks very tricky, I never thought of a profile self portrait, but you did it so very well.
