Second week's life drawing and I managed three drawings. This is the first and the body is too elongated I think. I didn't have a lot of room being only about three feet away and the model kept looking at me which was very off-putting. In fact she looked embarrassed and at one stage looked as af she was trying not to giggle! I couldn't concentrate at all!
I moved a little further out of her sight and started this one! Her right foot was at an awkward angle and in both drawings I thought it looked wrong. Not just the way I drew it but it looked at odds with the rest of her pose.
The room was extremely hot and I was in such a rush to pack up and leave I realised I was half an hour too early! So I positioned myself between two of the others on the opposite side of the room and filled in time with a quick sketch - and I like this one best! It was a strange session, I hope next week will be better!

Really nice sketches Felicity. I think you are learning the hard part of getting the best position and relaxing. So glad you are posting these-they make me want to take a class like this too.
