I found this surprisingly relaxing. The model holds the same pose for the 3 hours (with breaks) which suits my slow way of drawing. You can move around the room for different sketches or complete a painting - which is what most people do. The room is quite small which made the perspective a bit difficult but I'm happy with the way these two turned out.

I prefer this one as she looks thinner than she really was in the first. I think the lines look a little more confident in this too which probably reflects how I was feeling. It's a very interesting exercise but I wouldn't limit myself to drawing figures and I'm hoping to get the others interested in sketchcrawling too!

OH HOW WELL DONE, Felicity!!! And so glad you're back to posting!
Beautifully done, Felicity. I'm so glad that you found a community of artists in your new home.
So nice to see your drawings again. You're such a master of the pencil - I'm very glad to see you apply your mastery to figure drawing.
Very nice, Felicity! You're lucky to have the three-hour poses. None of the groups here do. And I agree with Linda about your finding other artists in your new hometown. That was quick!
